Michael Theresa has been intertwined in the realm of construction from an early age. Growing up around family and friends in the industry, he was involved in varying sizes of building and design projects like sheds, decks, additions, interior and exterior renovations, and even a large retaining wall design and installation. During high school his interest in buildings grew when he became highly involved with CAD and BIM and would design buildings in his spare time. This pushed him to pursue his Bachelor of Architecture degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology. While at NJIT, Michael was also an athlete, held multiple leadership positions in Alpha Sigma Phi, volunteered with Special Olympics among other organizations, and worked at an architecture firm during his last two years.
Prior to joining NK, Michael worked with various project types from small residential houses to large scale commercial, retail, and hospitality projects. After a few years in the industry, his focus was set on becoming a Registered Architect, and on his first attempt he passed each exam within just a few months. Besides his interest in architecture, Michael also enjoys watching and taking part in various sports, technology, and discovering new places and great restaurants.
