PROJECT OVERVIEW
Atlantic Health System’s (AHS) Morristown Medical Center (MMC) renovated 4,800 square feet to relocate their Pediatric Day Hospital from the first floor of the Goryeb Children’s Hospital to a former clinic space. NK Architects created a family-friendly environment for this outpatient unit featuring a new pediatric endoscopy suite. To create a fun and comfortable space for the children, we incorporated color-changing light stencils of animals above each patient bed – tying in the abstract animal-printed wall vinyl.
We worked closely with AHS MMC to develop a more inclusive pediatric day hospital while successfully incorporating a more efficient flow for staff members and patients.
