Lia Margolis
Lia is an innovative designer who aims to create spaces that enhance the user’s experience and propel the field of architecture forward. She is passionate about design justice, environmental design, urban environments, and passive building systems, along with Mandarin Chinese, and BIPOC-centered activism.
An alumnus of Syracuse University’s School of Architecture, Lia graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Asian/Asian American Studies and many Dean’s List certificates. She served as the NOMAS Chapter President, an Architecture Ambassador, Peer Advisor, and the two-time designer of Syracuse University’s Anti-Asian Hate Crime Exhibit for the Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPIHM) Planning Committee.
In her free time, Lia enjoys singing, dancing, and creating studio art. She loves diving into projects — you can often find her reorganizing her room, doing a puzzle, or drawing greeting cards.
