As President of NK Architects, Steve provides leadership in setting the strategic goals of the firm and ensuring our mission and core values are instilled in our professional staff and reflected in the work we each do for our clients every day.

Dedicated to NK for 30+ years, he has served as Principal-in-Charge for many significant projects in education, healthcare, science and technology, and medical education. He received his degree in architecture from NJIT and continues his graduate studies at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Steve holds leadership roles at numerous professional organizations, including serving as a trustee for the Independent College Fund of NJ, an advisor on the NJIT Dean’s Executive Council, and Past President of the Newark and Suburban Architects of the AIA.

From enjoying golf with friends, clients, and colleagues to playing in his bluesy-rock band at company picnics and industry networking events, Steve’s work hard/play hard philosophy exemplifies the NK culture of being among the very best at what we do, while having fun doing it.
