Zachary Esposito
Zach is an ambitious designer who has a passion for architecture and the human experience. He believes architects and designers should aim to create meaningful spaces that foster fond memories for the people who inhabit them. His time at Virginia Tech, where he earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree, greatly influenced his design process and views on architecture. He believes in the intentionality of design, and that every design choice should be thoughtful. He is excited to pursue becoming a registered architect.
Zach developed a strong interest in architecture for education through many studio projects. His fourth-year integrative studio project–-a school for disabled children–-earned him first place in a design competition sponsored by the Virginia Association for Learning Environments. He was invited to present his work at their conference of architects and education professionals.
In his free time, he pursues an interest in gaming and Esports, and continues to serve as an alumni advisor for Esports and competitive gaming at Virginia Tech. He spent a semester abroad in Switzerland and has also traveled to many countries around the world. He is a drummer and enjoys classic and progressive rock music. He also loves cooking, good food and wine.
