David is NK’s Interior Design Director touching on all aspects of multi-disciplinary projects within the firm. His range of experience includes three-dimensional design, space planning, work place design, furniture, color palette work and providing concept work at the preliminary phase of a project. His greatest professional achievement has been to provide clients with finished projects that exceed their expectations from the initial project phases. David’s skills in providing emotional enthusiasm and maintaining that enthusiasm throughout the course of a project is instrumental in keeping the client focused on the ultimate goal: a beautiful project that satisfies the client’s program. A five year Bachelor of Architecture degree with a minor in Fine Arts has given David both the technical and aesthetic background required to develop successful interior architectural projects for a wide range of clients, particularly those in the university, healthcare and corporate markets.
He is currently restoring his 1920’s Georgian house within a Fredrick Law Olmstead designed neighborhood and park. He also enjoys providing culinary services for crew members on barefoot charters in the Caribbean and has provided chef de cuisine services for one month in Ecuador for friends who opened a newly renovated Spanish Colonial Bed & Breakfast.
