Dan Topping, Principal at NK Architects led a presentation on building renovation at the SUNY/PPAA Summer Conference in Lake Placid, NY.  Titled 'Renovate, Transform or Knock Down? Considerations for Addressing Aged Buildings and Facility Renewal', the presentation outlined how Facility Managers can best analyze the potential benefits and challenges before embarking on a renovation project.   Also discussed were the  cost implications and  MEP engineering concerns inherent in any renovation project.  Dan's co-presenters included Alphonso Hernandez of Vanderweil Engineers and Hamashu Parmar of VJ Cost Consultants.
