Art by Architects

Art by Architects is a New York City art show that showcases the mere talent behind brilliant design. Their aim is to bridge the gender and generational gap of the architectural profession through a creative outlet. The first annual show was held at the New York Genome Center in SoHo, where over 40 architects/artists from a variety of backgrounds displayed their work. Sculpture, painting, drawing, and photography were among the mediums on display.

Sadie Wegner and Hank Abernathy (NK NYC) along with Steve Gifford (Principal and Board of Director at Perkins Eastman) and Frank Moya (Principal of Matthews Moya Architects) made up the committee responsible for this event.
