The Chapin School Wins AIA Newark & Suburban Design Award

The NK Architects-designed restoration and expansion of The Chapin School has won a 2023 Silver Medal Award from AIA Newark & Suburban Architects in the institutional category.

The expansion and renovation of The Chapin School, an all-girls independent K-12 school on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, supports expanded academic, athletic, community and performing arts programs. The existing 150,000 SF, eight-story building expanded vertically with approximately 50,000 SF of new space.
