The Meadows at Lawrenceville Ribbon Cutting

The Meadows at Lawrenceville celebrated the opening of a new skilled nursing facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. In attendance from NK Architects were Founding Principal Allen Kopelson, Jeffrey Hassert and Matthew Funk. Also in attendance were Bishop David M. O'Connell, Sen. Shirley Turner and Freeholder Pasquale "Pat" Colavita, Jr.

The Meadows' need to expand their long-term care facility led them to investigate the Green House concept of care. NK Architects designed the new facility so that each individual cottage is self-contained with private residence rooms, a family-style kitchen, dining and ‘hearth’ rooms. Architecturally, the project is residential in scale and is patterned as a neighborhood with several amenities including a rain garden, walking paths and front porches.
