Chatham Day School Breaks Ground on New Addition

Chatham Day School broke ground on their new addition on Friday, December 11th. The expansion will provide new spaces to facilitate and encourage learning and curiosity, engage students academically and socially, and reinforce the School’s culture and traditions. 

The project includes a new STEAM Suite (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math),
four new academic classrooms, the creation of a “home base” for the Middle School, and a new Middle School learning commons.  In addition, there will be a new performing arts space and a new dining hall, which will serve as the heart of the school.

Our design approach for this project is to create spaces that spark inspiration, imagination and innovation, encouraging students to become both independent learners and team players.
